The Life-Changing Impact
The financial burden of cancer can be as overwhelming as the disease itself. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's, now Blood Cancer United, Patient Lifeline Fund provides blood cancer patients with resources to help with the day-to-day expenses that insurance and other forms of support typically don't cover. As one patient told us, "The bills don't stop just because you have cancer."
A small sum is a lifeline for a patient. At least 90% of all funds directly support patients. Our goal is to help at least 100 patients a day so they can focus on their health.
As one patient said, "Your act of kindness has provided me with the strength to keep fighting and focus on my healing without the burden of financial worries. Your support has been a lifeline, reminding me that even in the darkest of times, there is still hope and kindness in this world."
